The next day, I stayed home for lunch as my fever had long gone, but the exhaustion, tiredness, and lingering weakness kept me grounded. For lunch, Y/N served me steamed momos and chicken noodles, which were also instant. I didn’t complain, though. I never really tried much convenience store food before. But as I ate, I noticed her complexion turning even more pale.
"Are you coming down with a fever?" I asked, genuinely concerned. She looked even more worn out than yesterday. I kept pressing her, hoping she'd open up, but she was determined to keep whatever was bothering her to herself.
